CYC is an opportunity for young aspiring singers to glorify God with their voices while growing both spiritually and musically. This class is great for beginning and more experienced singers. We will review the fundamentals of singing technique, sight singing, and musicianship, and we will learn through warm-ups, singing games, hands-on activities, crafts, and live performance opportunities. Most importantly, students will discover a new sense of joy and passion in singing. My hope is to spark a love for music that they have never experienced before, while providing an encouraging and safe place for every child to share their hearts and to show everyone a glimpse of what Heaven might sound like.

My Musical Path
My passion for music was ignited during high school, where I discovered the profound joy and expression that only music provides. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Vocal Performance and have studied piano, flute, and classical choral singing, grounding me with a versatile background that I apply to my teaching methods.
My journey began long before college, teaching swim lessons and directing summer camps. This experience helped me develop a deep understanding of how to create a fun and effective environment for students of all ages. I believe music is a powerful tool for cognitive development and personal achievement.
